Environment and Energy

The environment shapes our health, our economy and the world we leave to the next generation. This section follows how temperatures and rainfall are changing, how much greenhouse gas and air pollution are released, how much waste is generated, and the state of rivers, lakes, forests and protected nature.

It also looks at energy: where it comes from, how much electricity is produced and used, and how much the country depends on energy imports.
