Electricity production by type of power plant

The chart shows how much electricity was produced each year in Armenia by thermal, hydro, nuclear and solar power stations. Values are in million kWh.

In 2024 thermal power stations produced the most, 3516.5 million kWh. They were followed by nuclear power stations with 2830, hydro power stations with 2059.2 and solar power stations with 979.4.

The solar data start in 2017 at 0.4 million kWh and rose every year to 979.4 in 2024. Thermal output went from 1827.7 in 2005 to 3878.7 in 2022, its highest value.
