Farming and Harvests

From grain and potatoes to fruit and grapes, harvests change from year to year with the weather and the market. This section shows how much of each crop is harvested, how many cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry are raised, and how much meat, milk and eggs are produced per person.

It also looks at how much of the harvest farmers sell, the prices they receive, how the prices of farm inputs change, and how much fertiliser and pesticide is used.
