About this metric
The chart shows how many kilograms of three air pollutants are released into the air per person in Armenia each year: carbon monoxide (CO), non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).
In 2024, emissions came to 46.48 kg of carbon monoxide, 11.25 kg of NMVOC and 6.51 kg of nitrogen oxides per person.
All three peaked in 2021, at 53.82, 12.74 and 7.94 kg, and have fallen every year since. In 2000 they were 34.06, 4.97 and 3.11 kg. Sulphur dioxide is not shown: its per-person value drops from 9.64 kg in 2018 to 0.31 kg in 2019, and the source gives no reason.
