Families receiving family and social allowances

The chart shows the number of families receiving family allowance and social allowance in Armenia from 2014 to 2025. Families receiving three-month urgent aid, who are far fewer, are not shown.

The number of families receiving family allowance was highest in 2015, at 80,438. It then declined, and since 2020 it has fallen every year, from 61,727 to 31,545 in 2025, the lowest of the years shown.

The number of families receiving social allowance changed little in 2014-2021, between 24,646 and 26,393 (2016). It then fell to 21,715 in 2022, rose slightly to 23,193 in 2023, and reached 17,233 in 2025, the lowest.
