The chart shows the average size of a pension in Armenia: for all pensions together and for two types, labour pensions and pensions connected with military service. Amounts are in drams (AMD) per month.
The average pension rose from 35,813 in 2014 to 40,441 in 2015, then stayed between 40,397 and 40,634 in 2016-2019. It reached 43,983 in 2020 and 49,605 in 2023 (the highest), and was 49,451 in 2025. Since 2023 it has slipped slightly every year: 49,605, 49,567, 49,451.
Military service pensions are lower. In 2014 they were 17,467, less than half the labour pension (35,996), but by 2025 they had reached 40,901 against 48,975 for labour pensions. Pensions defined by other laws are not shown: they go to few people and are many times larger, which would flatten the other lines.
