Families receiving emergency aid

Families in Armenia in difficult circumstances can receive emergency aid. The chart shows two kinds: families receiving three-month aid (counted at the end of each year) and families receiving one-time aid (counted over the whole year). The two are counted differently, so they should not be added together.

The number of families receiving one-time aid peaked at 16,261 in 2016 and was 4,524 in 2025. Families receiving three-month aid numbered 10,512 in 2015, 5,375 in 2016 and 2,414 in 2025.

After 2021, both numbers fell every year: one-time aid from 10,007 families in 2021 to 4,524 in 2025, and three-month aid from 4,939 to 2,414.
