About this metric

This metric shows how much of Armenia's foreign trade is with Russia: Russia's share of Armenia's exports, of its imports (by country of origin) and of the two together, in percent.

In 2025 Russia accounted for 35.6% of Armenia's total trade in goods: 35.1% of exports and 36.0% of imports. It was both the largest buyer of Armenian exports and the largest country of origin of imports. In 2024 its share of total trade was 41.1%, the highest in the years shown, 2009-2025.

Over the period Russia's share of total trade rose from 22.3% in 2009 to 35.9% in 2022 and 41.1% in 2024. The export and import shares moved differently.
