Foreign Trade

No country produces everything it needs, so trade with the rest of the world matters for jobs, prices and growth. This section shows how much the country exports and imports, the balance between the two, and which products it sells and buys the most.

It also follows trade by partner, from neighbouring countries to the European Union and the CIS, how export and import prices change, and how the national currency's exchange rate against the US dollar, the euro and the Russian rouble has moved over the years.
