GDP at current prices since 2000
Drams, current prices, two methodologies
About this metric
This metric shows Armenia's gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices, in drams, from 2000 to 2025. The national accounts moved to a new methodology (SNA 2008), so the data come as two series from two tables: SNA 1993 for 2000-2014 and SNA 2008 for 2012-2025.
In 2025 GDP was 11.32 trillion drams (SNA 2008). In 2012, the first year of that series, it was 4.27 trillion.
Under SNA 1993, GDP rose from 1.03 trillion drams in 2000 to 4.53 trillion in 2014 and fell only once, in 2009, from 3.57 to 3.14 trillion. Under SNA 2008, it rose from 4.27 trillion in 2012 to 11.32 trillion in 2025 and fell only in 2020, from 6.54 to 6.18 trillion.
Both series cover 2012-2014, and the new methodology gives a level 6.5-6.6% higher than the old one. The two series are therefore not joined: each can be compared only with itself. The values are nominal, not adjusted for inflation.
