Share of total primary energy supply by source, %

EEnlightUpdated: Feb 25, 2026

About this metric

This chart shows where the energy supplied in Armenia in 2024 came from. Each slice is a source's share of total primary energy supply, in percent. The source states no unit for its energy figures, so only shares are shown.

Natural gas was the largest source, at 55.1%. Nuclear energy supplied 18.0% and oil products 17.2%, so these three sources together made up more than 90% of the supply.

Hydro followed with 4.3%, firewood and biomass with 2.6% and solar energy with 2.5%. Coal and wind together made up 0.4%. Net electricity has a negative supply value in the source (-119.8), so it is not a source of supply and is left out. The shares are of the sum of the other sources.
