About this metric
Renewable freshwater resources are the water Armenia's own precipitation leaves after evaporation (the internal flow) plus the water that flows in from neighbouring countries. The chart shows these resources for each year from 2000 to 2024, in million cubic metres.
In 2024 the resources came to 8,793.7 million cubic metres, the third highest value in the period shown, after 2007 (9,367) and 2011 (9,285). The table's own multiyear average is 7,769, and 8 of the 25 years were above it: 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2024.
The lowest value was 2,873 in 2000. The resources change a lot from one year to the next: they fell from 9,367 in 2007 to 4,439 in 2008, and rose from 6,244.4 in 2023 to 8,793.7 in 2024.
