The total floor area of the housing stock shows how much housing there is in the country. The chart shows the figure for the whole of Armenia for 2016 to 2024, in million square metres.
In 2024 it was 102.2 million square metres, against 93.8 million in 2016. It mostly grew until 2023, when it reached 108.7 million, the highest value in the period. The only earlier fall was in 2018, from 94.9 million to 93.8 million.
In 2024 the figure fell by 6.0%, from 108.7 million to 102.2 million. The source gives no reason. In Yerevan the floor area of the stock went from 30.41 million to 28.33 million square metres in the same year.
