About this metric
This metric shows how many property transactions transferred ownership in Armenia each year from 2017 to 2024: sales, gifts, and exchanges and other transactions together. The figures cover all property, including land.
Sales are the largest group every year, rising from 38,824 in 2017 to 57,796 in 2024, their highest. Gifts rose from 13,268 to 25,465, peaking at 26,982 in 2023.
Gifts made up 21.1% of these transactions in 2020, 33.8% in 2023 and 29.2% in 2024. Exchanges and other transactions are far fewer: 2,591 in 2018 and 3,898 in 2024, rising every year since 2020. The source leaves "other" empty for 2017, so that year is not shown for this group.
