About this metric
This metric shows how many transactions on real estate were carried out in Armenia each year from 2017 to 2024, by type: alienation (the transfer of ownership by sale, gift, exchange or other means), rent, pledge, inheritance, legalization and other state registrations. The figures cover all property, including land.
Alienation is the largest type every year. It rose from 52,275 in 2017 to 87,159 in 2024. It fell only in 2020, to 60,253 from 71,135 in 2019, and rose in every other year.
Other state registrations come second every year, almost doubling from 34,915 to 67,878. Inheritance more than doubled, from 21,082 to 43,366, and since 2020 it has been ahead of pledge, which stood at 33,287 in 2024.
