Alcohol and drug dependence

The chart shows how many patients were under dispensary (ongoing medical) control at the end of each year for alcoholic psychoses, alcoholism, drug addiction and toxicomania, counted together. The source does not give the four conditions separately.

At the end of 2025 there were 14,639 such patients, the highest number since 2012. In 2012 there were 9,408.

The number rose every year except 2023 (14,101, down from 14,199 in 2022). The series starts in 2012 because the 2011 values differ sharply from the following years, and the source does not explain this.
