New cancer cases

The chart shows how many patients are diagnosed for the first time with a malignant neoplasm (cancer) and registered in Armenia's oncology institutions each year.

In 2025 the number was 10,337, the highest in 2011-2025. In 2024 it was 10,180 and in 2023, 8,327. Between 2011 and 2017 it stayed between 7,858 and 8,389.

Two years are lower than their neighbours: 2018 (6,847) and 2020 (6,934). The rise in 2024 means more diagnoses were registered. The source does not explain the dips or the rise.
