About this metric
The chart shows how many patients with active tuberculosis were diagnosed for the first time and registered in Armenia's tuberculosis institutions each year, split into pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
In 2025 there were 371 such patients: 245 with pulmonary and 126 with extrapulmonary tuberculosis. In 2011 the total was 1,185 (934 and 251).
The total fell every year from 2011 to 2021, when it reached its lowest value, 351, and stayed between 351 and 390 in 2020-2025. Extrapulmonary cases rose to 126 in 2025 from 104 in 2024, the highest since 2019 (160).
