About this metric
The chart shows the live weight of livestock and poultry sold for slaughter in Armenia each year from 2006 to 2025, in thousand tons, including what households use themselves. This is the weight of the animals while alive, not of the meat.
In 2025 the figure was 187.5 thousand tons, against 117.1 thousand tons in 2006, a rise of 60.1%.
It was highest in 2021 at 193.9 thousand tons. It then fell to 181.9 thousand tons in 2022 and 175.7 thousand tons in 2023, and rose again to 183.8 thousand tons in 2024 and 187.5 thousand tons in 2025.
