About this metric
This metric shows how much a household in Armenia spends on consumption per person, on average, according to the household survey. The figures are in the drams of each year, not adjusted for inflation.
Spending rose from 23,276 AMD in 2006 to 60,941 AMD in 2024, about 2.6 times as much. It fell compared with the year before only twice, in 2009 (to 27,667 AMD) and in 2021 (to 49,999 AMD).
In the latest year, spending in 2024 was 10.8% above 2023 (54,988 AMD). Because the values are nominal, they do not show how much more people could buy.
