Passenger transport shows how many passengers are carried each year by general-purpose transport in Armenia.
In 2024, 246.8 million passengers were carried. That is more than in any year from 2013 to 2023, but less than in 2007-2012, when 247.5 to 251.8 million passengers were carried each year.
From 2013 to 2018 the figure fell every year, from 241.3 million to 186.5 million. In 2020 it dropped sharply to 69.9 million, the lowest value in the period shown. From 2021 to 2024 it rose every year: 107.7, 159.1, 225.3 and 246.8 million.
The total includes taxi trips. In a separate table of the Statistical Committee, taxi trips rose from 1.6 million in 2022 to 46.8 million in 2023 and 57.8 million in 2024.
