About this metric

The 18-29 group was the largest up to and including 2018, with 1,884 convicts in 2010. Since 2019 the 30-49 group has been the largest. The number of convicts aged 14-17 fell from 176 in 2010 to 14 in 2023.
From 2023 to 2025 the numbers rose sharply in every group: from 1,462 to 4,501 for ages 30-49, from 747 to 2,498 for ages 18-29, and from 325 to 820 for ages 50 and older.
