The chart shows the area of Armenia's agricultural land, one of the nine land categories by purpose that the Statistical Committee reports. The figures cover 2006-2023.
In 2023 agricultural land covered 2,041.37 thousand hectares, 68.6% of the country's 2,974.26 thousand hectares. In 2006 it was 2,129.6, the highest value in the series; 2023 is the lowest.
Over the period the area fell by 88.23 thousand hectares (4.1%). Most of the fall came in 2010-2012, when it went from 2,120.3 (2009) to 2,052.4 thousand hectares (2012). From 2012 to 2023 it fell by a further 11.03. The series did not fall every year: it rose slightly in 2018, from 2,043.8 to 2,044.5.
