Children in kindergartens

Kindergarten is a child's first step into organised learning. The chart shows how many children attended kindergartens and other preschool institutions in Armenia each year, state and private ones together.

The number grew from 58,316 in 2010 to 86,797 in 2025, the highest of the years shown. The series has one sharp fall: in 2020 it dropped to 56,133 from 82,089 a year earlier, and by 2021 it was back at 72,552.

Since 2021 the number has risen every year.
