In January 2025, food goods prices were 2.6% higher than in the same month of the previous year. After strong increases in 2021–2022, food prices declined in 2023 and gradually returned to positive annual growth during 2024. By December 2024, annual food inflation stood at 2.2%, well below the high rates recorded in 2021–2022.
