AMD per year, as published (not adjusted for inflation)

EEnlightUpdated: Oct 14, 2025

About this metric

This metric shows the retail trade turnover in Armenia each year from 2007 to 2024: the money that shops, markets, kiosks and other retail outlets took in from selling goods to the public, in drams. The amounts are as published and are not adjusted for inflation.

In 2024 retail turnover was 2.16 trillion drams, the highest in the series and the first year above 2 trillion. It has risen every year since 2020.

In 2007 it was 934.38 billion drams. It grew until 2014 (1.47 trillion), then fell in 2015 and 2016 to 1.24 trillion. After 1.55 trillion in 2019, it fell again in 2020, to 1.33 trillion, before recovering.
