About this metric
This metric shows how much copper-molybdenum ore was mined in Armenia each year from 2008 to 2024, in tonnes. It is one of the solid minerals that the Statistical Committee reports on.
In 2024 28.39 million tonnes of copper-molybdenum ore were mined, more than double the 13.25 million tonnes of 2008.
Mining rose every year from 2008 to 2017, when it peaked at 37.11 million tonnes. It fell to 24.43 million tonnes in 2018 and since then has stayed between 24.43 and 31.87 million tonnes, with the highest of those years being 2020. The last two years were lower than each of 2019-2022: 28.94 million tonnes in 2023 and 28.39 in 2024.
