About this metric
This metric shows how many drams it takes to buy one US dollar, one euro and 100 Russian rubles, as the Central Bank's average rate for each month since January 2015. The ruble is quoted per 100 so that all three lines fit on one scale. A lower number means a stronger dram.
In September 2026 the dollar averaged 363.59 drams, the lowest of any month shown, the euro 418.61 drams and 100 rubles 427 drams.
The dollar was worth 475.73 drams in January 2015 and peaked at 527.67 drams in March 2021. In 2022 the dram strengthened: the dollar went from 485.14 drams in December 2021 to 394.54 drams in December 2022. The euro peaked at 633.42 drams in February 2021 and was lowest, 395.78 drams, in October 2022. The ruble was the most volatile: 100 rubles cost 741 drams in January 2015, 952 drams in May 2015 and only 385 drams in November 2024.
