About this metric
This metric shows the money that individuals in Armenia received from abroad and sent abroad through commercial banks and money transfer organisations in 2025, for the ten countries from which the most was received. It covers transfers of any kind, not only family remittances, and the amounts are in US dollars.
Russia stands out: individuals received 3.88 billion US dollars from there, more than from the other nine countries shown combined (1.50 billion). The United States came next with 733.80 million, and the United Kingdom third with 207.32 million.
Money moved the other way too. Individuals sent 749.90 million to Russia. In five of the ten countries (the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Germany, France and Georgia) more was sent than received: for the United Arab Emirates 631.94 million was sent and 105.03 million received, and for Switzerland 532.13 million and 131.94 million.
