Registered historic monuments by region in 2025

This metric shows how many immovable monuments of history and culture were on the state list in each region of Armenia in 2025.

In 2025 the list held 24,932 monuments. Gegharkunik has the most (5,328), followed by Kotayk (3,272) and Lori (3,144). Armavir has the fewest (445), followed by Ararat (954) and Yerevan (1,095).

The national total was 24,221 in every year from 2017 to 2022, 24,252 in 2023 and 24,221 again in 2024. In 2025 it rose by 711 to 24,932, while 42 newly discovered objects were recorded in 2025. The source gives no explanation for these changes.
