Garbage trucks
Number of garbage trucks among special-purpose vehicles, vehicles
About this metric
The chart shows how many garbage trucks Armenia has, as the Statistical Committee counts them among its special-purpose vehicles. The source does not say whose vehicles are included, so this is not a count of every truck in the country. It states no unit; the figures are numbers of vehicles.
In 2024 there were 340 garbage trucks, the most in 2014-2024, out of 632 special-purpose vehicles. In 2014 there were 256 out of 656. Yerevan had 71 of the 340 in 2024.
The number was 229 in 2016 and 2017, rose to 290 in 2019, and was 275 in 2020 and 2021. It has risen every year since 2021 (317 in 2022, 335 in 2023). All special-purpose vehicles were fewest in 2019 (460), and garbage trucks are a larger part of them in 2024 than in 2014.
