The chart shows how many athletes were counted in Armenia's sports organizations in each year from 2010 to 2025, in total and women among them.
In 2025 there were 48,176 athletes, the highest number in the period, and 8,333 of them were women. In 2010 there were 40,299 athletes, including 5,871 women.
The number was lowest in 2011, at 39,676. It jumped to 44,764 in 2012 and fell to 42,897 in 2013. It dropped from 42,136 in 2019 to 40,934 in 2020, rose to 42,980 in 2021 and has risen every year since, to 48,176 in 2025.
Women were 17.3% of athletes in 2025 (8,333 of 48,176). Over the period their share ranged from 14.6% in 2010 to 17.5% in 2021. The number of women was 7,088 in 2019, 6,445 in 2020 and 7,516 in 2021.
