About this metric
The chart shows pregnancy terminations in Armenia each year, by the types the source lists: spontaneous, induced (permitted), induced on medical indication, vacuum aspiration (mini) and drug-induced.
In 2025 the five types add up to 10,450 cases: 4,672 induced (permitted), 2,306 drug-induced, 1,749 induced on medical indication, 1,567 spontaneous and 156 vacuum aspiration. In 2016 the total was 10,736.
Drug-induced terminations went from 178 in 2016 to 2,306 in 2025, and induced (permitted) terminations from 6,721 to 4,672 over the same years. The latter were highest in 2018, at 7,424.
