Average hospital stay

The chart shows the average duration of hospital inpatient treatment per patient in Armenia, as reported by the Statistical Committee. The source does not state the unit, and days are assumed here.

In 2025 the figure was 6.2, the lowest in the series and down from 7.9 in 2011, the highest. It was 7 or more in every year from 2011 to 2021, and below 7 in every year from 2022 to 2025.

After 2019 the figure rose twice: from 7 to 7.4 in 2020, and from 6.7 to 6.9 in 2023.
