This is the highest value in the series; the lowest, 3,135.7 thousand, was in 2010, the first year with data. The number was 3,618.7 thousand in 2019, fell to 3,488.8 thousand in 2020, and has risen every year since, to 4,011.3 thousand in 2024. The only other fall was in 2016, to 3,434.6 thousand from 3,464.5 thousand in 2015.
