The chart shows life expectancy at birth in Armenia: the average number of years a newborn is expected to live. It is shown for everyone together, and separately for men and women.
In 2025 it was 78.9 years: 75.6 for men and 82.0 for women. In 1990 the figure was 70.7 years, 67.9 for men and 73.4 for women.
Life expectancy rose in most of the years shown, and it was higher for women than for men in every year. It fell to 73.4 in 2020 and to 72.2 in 2021, after 76.4 in 2019, then rose to 74.9 in 2022 and 77.7 in 2023. The decline was larger for men (from 72.9 in 2019 to 67.1 in 2021) than for women (from 79.5 to 77.3).
