About this metric
The chart shows the number of telephone sets in Armenia's public telephone network: the total, and the part counted as apartment sets. The source does not state the unit; the figures are taken as thousand sets.
In 2024 the total number of sets was 274 thousand, of which 235.4 thousand were apartment sets. In 2007 they were 623.7 and 549.6 thousand. The total was highest in 2008 at 625.6 thousand.
The total rose in only two years, 2008 and 2021 (from 406 to 419.2 thousand), and fell in every other year. The sharpest fall was in 2023, from 382.9 thousand (in 2022) to 303.2 thousand, a drop of 79.7 thousand; in the same year apartment sets went from 332.4 to 260.3 thousand.
