Freight transport shows how many tonnes of freight are carried each year by general-purpose transport in Armenia. The chart shows tonnes.
In 2024, 16.83 million tonnes of freight were carried. Since 2022 the volume has fallen two years in a row, from 18.90 million to 18.48 million and then 16.83 million tonnes.
In 2007-2015, between 9.39 million and 12.32 million tonnes were carried each year. In 2016-2018 the volume jumped to 20.48 million, 28.13 million and 29.18 million tonnes, the highest value in the period shown, and in 2019 it fell to 14.73 million tonnes.
